The Courage Fund: Rose Marie Belforti
So here’s the deal. She’s a clerk in small-town New York who doesn’t want to process same-sex marriage licenses because that violates her Christian principles.
She says she wishes the new law hadn’t been rushed through the legislature so the people could have voted on it in a referendum.
Okay, Rose. Let’s say the people voted and law passed. You’re still in exactly the same place, with a law you disagree with and forms you don’t want to process.
Get over yourself. You’re not courageous. You’re a selfish narcissist.
